Were Putin's "attacks" on ISIS nothing more than a way to supply arms to them?

These Paris and Beirut attacks by ISIS were all don't by Russian artillery.  Either Russia is just selling them everything on ebay or supplying them directly with it.  Was Putin just supplying Syria with weapons but using his supposed attacks as a way to cover it up?

As if Russia would not have a way to get arms into France directly. Please stop trying to find people to blame, Radical Islam is to blame and that's it.

All Russian made.  Russian made Automatic Rifles, Russian made hand guns, Russian made launchers, Russian made bombs.  Wouldn't be shocked if there are groups in Russia training right now.

So the only country (Russia) actually fighting ISIS, in addition to Syria, is supposed to have been arming ISIS?  If you wish to know who has actually been arming ISIS, look no further than the West.  It's odd that even in the aftermath of the Paris attacks, that Western nations taking in refugees still refuse to change their policies to allow proper screening to safeguard their own people.  It's almost as though they were hoping for such an attack as some sort of excuse to widen the conflict in Syria, with the real intent to push out Assad, using ISIS as the proxy.
