Anonymous Vows ‘Biggest Operation Ever’ Against ISIS for Attack on France

The hacktivist collective known as Anonymous posted a video to their YouTube account on Saturday, where they condemned and swore vengeance on ISIS and its supporters for the terror attacks that devastated Paris.

 
Appearing in the group’s preferred Guy Fawkes mask, Anonymous’ spokesman gave a video in French saying that the hackers have declared war against the extremist group. A translation from Towleroad says that the message warns ISIS to expect “massive cyber attacks” and that members from all over the world would join the effort against them.

You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go. We will launch the biggest operation ever against you. Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared. The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger.
Anonymous has since posted additional videos in a variety of languages, including one in English, saying the plan is called “Operation Paris,” and that they would work to steal and distribute information from any ISIS sites they hack. Anonymous also put notice on their official Twitter account saying that over 2,000 accounts were shut down by their efforts, and that more would follow shortly:


This is not the first time Anonymous has taken action against ISIS, having previously launched a campaign against their websites following the attacks on Charlie Hebdo.

Anyone who can do anything to degrade, destroy and/or hurt Islamic State or any of its kind is doing something in the right direction.

Different people possess different skills and abilities. If every person of clear and reasonable mind determined his/her own special talents, and committed these to the effort to deteriorate Islam's negative impact on the non-Islamic world, the success would be that much greater.
