actually from what i read, if you even get say  a 100k fallowers you can make some money not huge money but still extra money.

i think anal gains said he spends 6 to 7 hrs a day working on his videos, so he has to making some money from it.

Its only the channels with massive views that make good money. The rest make extra money but its not exactly a career.

On the youtube revenue, I live with someone with something like 5 million views on youtube and yeah, $2-$3 per 1000 views is correct.

Possibly more if you're a bigger channel.
