Stationary Bike Issues

I love the stationary bike, just peeled off 18.6 miles in an  hour. However, my ass hurts like a b$$tch around the 35 minute mark. Is there something a person can put on a bike seat (that wont move around) to cushion my precious ass?

Believe it or not I am going to give you a serious answer. I have a performance road bike. I never ride without a pair of Pearl Izumi bike shorts on. They have gel in the ass and crotch. I ride distances on the road like you do ipon the stationary bike. It saves my ass.

Wear cycling shorts or bib shorts.. any technical clothing with a chamois stitched in. Your ass will feel like it's on a cloud.

These seats actually cause more pain due to the bulk of them. The shorts I mention above have the gel right where you need it with minimal bulk.

Get a broader bike seat. Racing bike seats take a lot of getting used to.....think hard ass.

Yeah.  Swim.  Unless you don't enjoy immersing yourself in other people's urine.

Gel ass shorts are only 1/2 a solution.  The other half ime is riding every day until you're used to it, but it's worse each day for about a week.  In the end (ba dum), I decided anything that uncomfortable is a stupid form of exercise.
