Lock out ALL refugees/immigrants from that entire region for one year.  Then look at things again.

Anytime you have the worlds biggest terror group saying they are specifically using that avenue to get in, it's a no-brainer.  I know, hilary and jeb love immigration and all... but just PAUSE it for a year and sort out the bad guys, then consider it.  You don't need to end it forever, I get it.  But NOW?   When they're blowing up bombs with presidents in stadiums in france?  No way.  just lock it down.

And PLEASE jeb, stop the pandering with "only Christian refugees can come in" because every terrorist will lie.  You cannot tell us how you'll tell teh difference, you just want a headline to pander to the base since you're down to 3% in polls.

Just lock it down for a year and go get the bad guys.  Then re-evaluate if you must

All one could do is document them...There's no way to research and see if any have criminal records. Theres no FBI in Syria ! There's no way to tell who is good or who is bad.

Don't let any in to any country. Make a refugee camp and have a coalition of soldiers protect them and when ISIS is contained they can go back home.......THIS JUST IN Obama announced ISIL is contained, so there is no further need to take in refugees

very good points.

turns out the bombers used forged passports so it's not clear where they came from at this point. There's some speculation that  ISIS may have dropped syrian/turkish passports to intentionally stigmatize refugees. Four of the five identified attackers were french citizens...hmmm where did these guys come from?

ISIS is strongly against the refugee movement into what they term "liberal", secular democracies.

while the security concerns are valid is your recommended action also a win for the bad guys?

I really don't know but most of us would agree that taking in refugees is a part of what led to France's problem.

I'm fully for borders. Real and imagined.

Obviously not all Syrians will become terrorists, in the "formal" sense. But they will import their culture and more than likely one day (or their children will) push for ever-more latitude given to Muslim-like demands so that our nations will better mirror those from where they originate.

The very countries that became shitholes because of their culture and its religion/ideology.

To retain purity you avoid that which poisons.

Any way it's presented, Islam is diseased. This much is obvious to anyone with a functioning brain and the willingness to pay attention to world events.

And besides, what any progressive nation needs is even MORE supersititous people, praying to sky gods, right?

my understanding is they let in about 90,000 muslim refugees after the war because they were being killed in Algeria. In this case, they were the muslim french colonial loyalists, who were left over.

It wouldn't surprise me if their kids weren't as fond of the French as their parents....but that's not a refugee issue per se it's more a failure to integrate into the society; a second generation thing.

..very interesting can't wait to find out who these guys were. hmmm

this stuff is making people vigilant again.

cops all over my town actually looking up from their damn laptops to look at people again.  i heard a ruckus this AM and took twin glocks to say good morning to the water guy changing the salt or whatever in the tanks on the side of the house.  I wear a fanny pack into the grocery store and it's a pleasant feeling to see eyes focus on it from people who were oblivious to it a week ago.

it any good comes of this madness, it's that people put down their phones and become aware of their surroundings again.  bad guys have no chance if everyone in every store, sporting event or church is serving as concealed security.  WAY more effective than just leaning on the govt to keep us safe... particularly because citizens don't play by the same rules.  someone tries carting in a bomb or unloading rifles, a cop will identify himself and engage the target.  Bubba from the down south may just pop his ass.

You have a magical way of telling Christians from Muslims?

People lie about being Christian all the freaking time! Look at how those who call themselves Christian act toward and treat others.
