Italian was banned at home for the children....speaka the English. My mom is from Ireland....came over legally. Yes. ... been to Hawaii several times. Beautiful city. But at a population of under 400k is not comparable to Toronto (same size as Chicago). Only Miami has more foreign born residents. But Toronto has more variety in terms of country of origin.

Toronto is just under 50 percent white.
