Maybe? It's got to be between him and Roelly for best tris ever.
In the DVD where you got those screen captures, Craig said that if he did not turn pro that year, he would be done with bodybuilding. That actually makes sense, because he also said [online, not on the DVD] that if he did that cycle again for a pro show, he would be looking for a donor [implied: kidney donor]. He said that on MuscleMayhem in 2005 when someone posted those photos, and naturally - many people complimented his physique. It was likely the best package he ever brought to the stage. So...let's just say it was not easy for Craig to achieve that sort of conditioning. But he did look amazing, and his triceps were amazing. I'm not sure if they were among the best ever, but they were awesome.
Imagine if Craig had not won both the heavyweight and overall at the 1996 USA Championships [which I like to call the "Mr. USA", although I am not sure if that is technically a correct nickname to give it]. Tom Prince would have turned pro a year sooner, and Craig would have quit bodybuilding...it's hard to say if that would have made his life turn out better or worse than it ultimately did...perhaps Craig would have lapsed into drug addiction sooner, or perhaps he would have had a lot less money to ultimately spend on his addictions. It's hard to say. Melissa James would have almost certainly still been alive, but he may have done bad things to other people...even killing someone else. Although the death of James was somewhat accidentally. It wasn't premeditated in any way that I could tell. So it's hard to say if Craig was a murderous person by nature. A bit of a hothead, sure. But a murderer? I'm not so sure. Either way, Craig's life would have been very different had he not achieved the conditioning in the photos posted in the OP by Nether Animal.
