My 1st cousin getting married in Cork to another doctor. Very fancy. I'm drinking with my uncle-in-law at the residents bar in the hotel with a few of the last ones standing.
I've known him for years, I lived with them a few times for a week or two here and there during repeat exams when I'd no accommodation in the city.

So, we're sitting drinking and I stand up to go to bed and he insults my father (who is asleep). I just remember saying "he's still my father though, Martin" and grabbed him by the scruff I think. He threw the first and it cut me open across the eye had to get 6 stitches (his ring). I don't really remember it but apparently he had two black eyes (I had to leave because the concierge were threatening to call the cops if I stayed in my room because I was threatening him  ::)) and wore shades the next day. I think I hit him once but we were separated fast enough. Myself and my Aunt, who I was quite close to, and his daughter who is my age (1st cousin) used to get on really well...we haven't spoken in 7/8 yrs cos of it.

I thought the military teaches people to not react blindly.

Sounds like it's not your brother who has "issues".

Lol, what a fag.

Not family exactly.  Some old lady stole my parking space and I was sitting there with my turn signal on and everything.  So when I came out and saw her car was still there I put my shopping cart on top of it and then I just drove away.

I thought you'd solve any dispute with a good old fashioned posedown.

Exactly.  When tempers flare thongs come out.

Clearly not a man to be trifled with, folks.
