Assuming you are referring to Venezuela, and communism, try 18.5% unemployment, shortage of access to essential goods (toilet pape, sugar, corn, flour...) did you mean their economy grew when oil was over $100/barrel? If you want to trawl up a graph of econimic growth, see what the growth has been since oil has hovered from $40-60 per barrel.
