Anyone can be a MOD (even Shizzo)

Everyone knows the rules of the boards and if you don't, there's plenty of places to find them.  There is no excuse for not knowing what's acceptable and what's not.  If someone is going to post bannable material, they are subject to having said material removed and being banned.  If someone is going to derail a thread by posting bannable material, not only are they subject to banning, but the ENTIRE THREAD is subject to removal.  It is not the responsibility of the mods to sift through a thread to edit and remove questionable material, especially after it's been quoted numerous times.  This includes the RANDOM thread and any other thread that gets derailed with crap.

Sometimes what is posted in a particular thread inspires other thoughts which changes the subject of the thread. I'm not talking about when a tread is derailed by irrelevant name calling, I talking about the way conversations work. In real life when folks talk, the conversation is fluid and changes as in, "that reminds me of....." Bannable material is a different story. Either the rules are enforced or there is no point in having them. It is impossible to catch every violation. It is like speeding and getting away with it most of the time. Most folks get caught sooner or later and then they suffer the consequences.
