Showing up smelling bad could be a strategy. I have too much pride for that. Would love to fart in an opponents face if I ever knocked him out, would make sure his mouth was open to really get him good!

Ronda Rousey doubles down on Holly Holm rematch: 'If I don't win, I'll be done with everything'


Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is starting to make her way back into the mixed martial arts (MMA) limelight. As expected, her knockout loss to Holly Holm (video), which took place at UFC 193 last month in Australia, left her "really f---ing sad."

And unable to eat apples for three-to-six months, but that won't keep her from returning to the cage.

"What else am I going to fucking do?" Rousey asked Ramona Shelburne.

Promotion president Dana White already guaranteed his fallen star an immediate rematch, but now the stakes are even higher. If Rousey is unable to reclaim her bantamweight title from "The Preacher's Daughter," she may call it a career.

"I guess it's all going to be determined by what happens in the rematch," Rousey told ESPN Magazine. "Everything is going to be determined by that. Either I'll win and keep going or I won't and I'll be done with everything."

That could be a tough pill to swallow for White, who went on record -- multiple times -- to call Rousey the biggest star in the history of combat sports. Her crossover appeal, which led to movie roles and a best-selling book, returns beaucoup bucks at the box office.

A Holm rematch will be no exception.

It will be interesting to see what changes Team Rousey makes moving forward. Her longtime coach, Edmond Tarverdyan, came under fire following the carnage at UFC 193 (sample here), but was already in the crosshairs of the ex-champ's "Rowdy" mother.

Not that it will have any impact on her fighting future.

"Of course I'm staying [with Tarverdyan]," Rousey said. "That's my mom's opinion, not mine."

We're still several months away from establishing a date for "Holm vs. Rousey 2," which could depend on this, but at least we can now say with some degree of certainty that it's actually happening.

Rematch?  ::)

Rousey's going to be out for the next 6 months at least, and she would be better off taking another bout to practice her striking and get her confidence back before even thinking about facing Holm again.

If she goes straight into a Holm rematch after taking so long out of the octagon she's going to suffer an even more humiliating defeat than the last one.

she is correct in saying if she doesnt win she will quit. there is no other belts in the UFC only one per division unlike boxing where she can win a

alphabet title and be marketed as a "champion". RR was gassed up to hard by the media and she has no where to go other than being a champion

if RR cant be a champ again she is done and u gotta admire her honesty.


holly holmes is in the gym training for the rematch while RR is getting her fat hairy pussy lasered
