ive watched every single Cruz interview and speech, and was a bit surprised when he let that one fly. very uncharacteristic of him to make a mistake like that...in any case, he certainly would not realistically advocate using nukes in this case. clearly it was an overheated slip up

we're 50 days from Iowa and the base wants blood.  If Cruz doesn't WIN Iowa, he doesn't win the nomination.  It's his super bowl.  Trump wins Iowa and Trump wins the nomination in a cakewalk.

Dont make that assumption about me.  I've posted it before - I PREFER the nuke threat in areas like this.  Conventional weapons = bad guys bounce back 2 weeks later and actually exploit the chaos of a bombed area.  but when you nuke the place, those cockroaches that return, well, they're the ones glowing.  If we MEAN IT about ending all life in that area, then we do it so the cycle STOPS.  And that means making that part of the earth barren for a few hundred years.  Don't let it become another Yemen where warlords can exploit generations of people of lawlessness.  Just give that part of the earth a 'time out' for a bit.
