They refer to him as a "bikie" in Australia.  Maybe he was making meth for his gang.

Afterall if he didn't cook his meth in a sea of unreliability then who would have?
What would the price have been to leave? Would his beloved nutrition store franchise come under threat?

The supplements business may well have been a money laundering cover for his "Real business" also making it essier to import meth precursors.

Anytime you hear about a seizure of x amount of drugs you hear about 2 or 3 more the following days unless people cop on that loss of phone connection means the person is in custody.
