I was hoping Aldo would win...can't stand McGregor. There's a way to be cocky and still be likeable (like Ali, Sonnen, etc..) but he is doing it wrong.

it's easy to figure out. The UFC is milking the cash cow.

Besides, you can't really compare fighters from yesteryear, to todays attention whores. Ali was the Elvis of the boxing world. McGregor is still in Justin Bieber territory.

We didn't come to take part - we came to take over.

He also said humble in victory or defeat and he was once the "marketing mode" was turned off.

What amazed me was how he got an entire room to himself at the press conference. Even Luke who had just won had to sit with the others but Connor shows up and the room gets cleared for him.
Apparently he may get the opportunity to move up while retaining the featherweight belt. Several others have asked for the same and got denied but Dana decides Connor may be the one.

This dude is a once in a lifetime character unlike Ronda. New Fastest knockout time, brings an entire nation with him and breaks ppv records.

I had Jose to win but but since yesterday I was 60/40 in favour of Jose. From the poirier fight I had been paying attention to Connor with his marketing mode off. He's a pretty interesting dude. It's amazing how he gets the UFC to bend everything for him.

Frankie's next and it should be good. No favourites for that one. May the best man win.
