Seahawks have appeared to right the ship, though.

They basically upped the dose.

Seahawks are really looking strong and the Arizona Cardinals really seem to be a little bit of smoke and mirrors.

I spent a few minutes trying to think of how to work Ritalin into a team name. Coming up empty as Wiggs' brain.... New Ritalind Patriots?

seattle had a big issue with adderall suspension.   seattle had some big defensive cheats this year (knocking ball out of end zone intentionally, shermann uncalled pass interference to get an INT)

NFL wants them in the playoffs so they've been giving them calls at ends of close games.  Remember Pete Caroll THANKING the ref at the end of the Seahawk/Packers NFL Ref Scrub game on the magical INT that was called a TD?

Culture of cheating.

Agree about Seattle. Arizona is right there also, have a complete team with an excellent coach.

The Superbowl winner tends to not to be about how you started the season but how you finish.  Just look at KC , Jets and Seattle.  They were written off for dead and are now some  of the hottest teams that no one wants to play, then look at a team like Cinci and Minnesota that started off hot and are cooling down.  That's why I think its crucial that the Panthers play hard until the end of the season or they're going to run into a hot team and show up rusty and get beat.

Why would the NFL want the Seahawks in the playoffs? If they had their choice, I'm sure they'd rather see the big market teams (Jets, Giants, Bears, Cowboys) get in.

Would a Jets/Giants Superbowl be all that special?  maybe NYers would be elated but every one west of that state wouldn't give a shit.

You seemed to have missed the point...

Do you think only Seattle and New England fans were watching last year?

People watch the Superbowl no matter who's playing.

Seattle at home would be hard to beat in the playoffs. On the road I think they will roll over. And they will be on the road in the Playoffs.

Having Rawls get injured hurts them, but Wilson has been very good.

The Pats have lost Solder and Blount and that slows them way down.

The Packers are a non factor.

The Broncos get Manning back and that won't be enough.

The Cardinals can be weak defensively and take stupid penalties.

The Bengals have an injured ginger.

The Panthers are a season away.

So it's a Seattle and New England toss up to win SB 50!

At the end of the day the refs call way too many penalties and the NFL has sucked this year.

Sorry to sound like an ignorant fuck (I know everything, I just want to enlighten others) but can NFL refs not consult videos (3 challenges per half or something?) so why are there so many shit decisions? New and ambiguous rules?

Oh, a total sidepoint, but caught some highlights last night. Some of the tackling in NFL is comical. Not using arms to tackle runners with ball etc, just expecting a glorified headbutt to suffice. Do they even centre of gravity?

Football in the NFL is meant to be a violent sport for real, red blooded, physically superior American men. This year the refs are calling penalties and trying to turn the game into soccer....which is played by skinny little homosexual Europeans with pony tails, man purses, and boyfriends.

Hope this helps.

I don't think the $700m concussion payout (or however much) helped but they have changed helmet tackle rule in response. The basics of tackling a person down, like in rugby (you get low, take them at legs/hip and drive with leg in shoulder area) aren't used in NFL - they seem to rely on running into someone like a double amputee.

all those moron bandwagon fans.  and russell wilson is the poster boy for NFL.  He's a virgin who drinks nano water.  Brady deflates balls.  Cam steals laptops.  Wilson won't even bang a video ho.

Steelers might have the best OF in the league. They'll have the ability to put up 30+ in the playoffs. The problem I see with them is their DF may give up 40.

Also the Jets and Chiefs schedule is pretty easy and I think KC gets a break playing cinci without Dalton.  Jets and KC win 2 of the last 3 and Pitt won't be in the playoffs.

I wonder if Cam Newton will be be taking any Xanax tonight? After all; he will be facing the defense of the NY Giants in less than 18 hours.  :-\

Panthers vs. the Giants will be a must watch next week. I fully hope (and expect) the Giants to win that game. They are not a lot of things (especially this year) but they certainly can play to the competition.

Do I want to see an undefeated Panthers team? God no.

The day of reckoning is upon us.

The beating the Giants receive today will have Shizzo trying to drown himself in cheap convenience store booze

Giants flat out suck. The most bi-polar team I have ever seen.

Maybe the Panthers are that good?..... :-\

The Patriots were never able to dominate the Giants like this.

However, the Giants had a few opportunities that would have changed the game.

Beckham Jr. dropped a sure toucdown bomb, and Cromartie dropped a possible pick 6.

I pray to the heavens that the Panthers do not go undefeated.
