Sorry but Zyzz was a Drug and Steroid abuser. He did bodybuilding only that he can pose like a fool at every party. This guy had clearly nothing to do with health neather is he a rolemodel. If you believe he did change bb then you are a No-Brainer.  ::)

Zyzz went to parties and had a good time. Most people imagine pro "bodybuilders" at parties end up like Robert Burneika in the infamous pool party video.

All of it just plays into the idea that young, semi-normal men/boys do not want to look like IFBB pro's. I don't know much if anything about Zyzz, but apparently he was a voice for living an actually-desirable lifestyle that also incorporated weight-training.

Zyzz had to take steroids to get to where he was, and to go to parties, to be popular. His who image was found in a bottle and a syringe.

There ar people who go to parties and be popular without that. It's called "personality".

Good point. The Rock, HHH and even obscure randoms in WWF like Paul Romo were influential to bbers. Look up Paul Romo if don't know. He could've done damage in a show.

Desirable lifestyle?  He was a cokehead, and popped ecstasy like tic tacs at raves and festivals, all the while knowing he had a heart condition.  That desirable lifestyle got him a long way.  It's not surprising that the morons from his generation looked up to him though.  They can't possibly think for themselves.

When you're a teenage boy and you see Burneika and you see Zyzz, the choice is clear.

By the time you've graduated college, hopefully you've moved beyond both.

Beat me to it.

That has to be one of the most moronic statements ever made.

I swear, these guys has to be teenagers. Even men stuck in arrested development are not this immature and short sighted.

Zyyz, and his fans and minions, are what gh15 referred to when he coined the term, "Generation Nothingness".

This is why we have the culture that we have today.

It sucks being old but I am grateful as hell that I grew up in the era that I did. I would feel sorry for the kids today but at this point I really don't care. They deserve what's coming to them and what has come to them.

And that includes Zyyz.

The Irony of you posting this on the Internet. How dare the world change.

So you don't distinguish between technology and culture/values?

Quick, without looking it up. Who are the faces featured on Mount Rushmore? What decade did the Civil War/War Between the States take place? Name the five Founding Fathers?

Exactly.

The level of endemic ignorance with people today is just breathtaking.

Quick: what is the difference between endemic, pandemic and epidemic?

Exactly.

Keep worshiping people like Zyyz. It suits you. And stay home glued to your cell phone on election day.

I just realize that you are the same moron that claimed that Zyyz was "just as much" a bodybuilder as Luke Wood.

You've been here four months. Why did you join this board when you fit in so nicely at bbing.com?

And why are you avoiding my question? How old are you?

I like to bitch about younger people (I'm 31), and I do, it is my right as I see young women (20-23) become "inappropriate" for me to look at  ;D but I will say this... they (teens onwards) have a shitload more to deal with due to social technology (and maybe porn, I don't know, a shitty .jpg from ampland did for me at 15, or the thought of doing my Irish teacher up the ass).

Zyzz is the lazy man's good physique. You don't need to eat much or train much, you can party all the time, just take juice and coke and pretend being 165lbs is a muscular physique.
