His knees must be made of steel to withstand such nasty form.

Nasty form? ??? It's called full reps ::)

Problem is hardly anyone has ever seen anyone doing real squats these days, so they think those shabby quarter reps wiggling good morning hybrid is how a perfect squat is supposed to look like :D

not an expert on these powerlifting lifts but looks very good. Oldtimer1 (Rich)opinion ? I like to do clean and press but i am sure my form is not what a powerlifter would maybe call good form. Looks like a great talent good luck to him.

I've been following this guy on various site since 5/6 years, there's no way you'll see him in an official contest. He's a gym hero, period.

Those are great squats, but not everyone has the flexabilty or the lower back integrity to do them.

Anybody who doesn`t break paralell, gets zero credit from me,and trust me,most at my gym are in the zero credit range!   ;D

Absolutely. Anything below that is counter productive for bodybuilding.

I was taught to squat by none other than Kevin Tolbert.
Our gauge was always tops of thighs parallel to the floor, which most certainly breaks "parallel".

I remember on a seminar they told us that squating slightly below parallel was better because the overall shear stress against your Patella was more spread. Talking about cartilage here.

Clean and press are a fundamental full Body movement which originated in Powerlifting. The Hang clean. power clean were definitely used by Grimmick . Who also competed as a bodybuilder or do you disagree?

Here's a radical idea for saving your knees and your lower back when squatting. Don't use more weight than you can handle for 12 perfect form reps.

Exactly, holy fuck are people stupid.

'ppl who dont go down all the way are lazy' ::) ::) ::)

Based on ANY GYM IVE EVER BEEN TO, I'd say the percentage of average, male gymgoers who have the ability to do a decent squat is about 2.

Clarence squats super deep because he's super flexible.  He does o lifting because he has the flexibility and inherent musculature for it.  He didnt have to stretch or practice technique for years to get there, either, and the average guy trying to copy him will fail miserably.

Just watching someone squat isn't called a 'lesson'. You need someone who's capable to explain things step-by-step, and then show you how it's done. Chris Duffin is one of them..

And how is exactly does this form serve the average gym rat or even competitive bodybuilder who wants bigger legs? There are plenty of men who have built enormous legs without this knee-shattering and back-breaking form. No, I am not talking about quarter rep squats, but rather squats to or NEAR parallel. That's enough depth to build thick quads. Actually I know some men who said their quads took a hit when they started going down further than parallel because tension comes off the quads a bit when one goes that deep.
