Never ever seen any bodybuilder put on musclemass with forcefeeding. All i have seen is they put on water and fat. All gone when its time to get into contest shape!
Jay Cutler ate as much as ten times a day. Said he had to get up in the middle of the night just to eat. He commented that he gets little joy out of eating. That it is just work for him. Trevor Smith once commented that he gets most of his calories from liquids because he was just so sick of eating.
To put on muscle you have to be in a caloric surplus. The bigger you get the more calories you need to grow. Although your stomach does grow to accommodate more food even that is limited. You can only eat so much in one sitting. You have to eat more frequently to get in the calories. You have to force yourself if you want to grow.
Just today I had to force myself to eat breakfast. I really wasn't hungry and had to choke it down. By lunch I still wasn't hungry and just didn't want to eat anything. I ended up having two McDonald's large shakes with some protein powder and an ice cream sandwich because I had to get in the calories. I did this because I had already lost five pounds from the previous day because I only ate twice. And this is not to gain weight but just to maintain. I have to force myself to eat just to maintain my already twinkish weight.
