Arnold COMPLETELY OFF the juice (circa 1991)

WTF!! This is the smallest I ever saw Arnold. This was even smaller than his late 70's running shape. Looks like he was 175-180 pounds here.  :o

He was promoting T2 at that time and he claimed he weighed 215 pounds during the filming of it. He's nowhere near that weight here. Definitely under 200 here.

When I saw Arnold in person in the late 80s he was weighing about 210 and looked like he was still low dosing.

In MMA, solidly built 6'1-6'2" Nattys fight at 185. Why would Arnold be different?

That was the photo-opp that came with the top tier 1991 Arnold Classic package.  I was there and remember him being down significantly in size.  I would guess he was around 200lbs then.  At the 1989 ASC he was definitely more accessible, relaxed and a lot less pressed for time.

It never ceases to amaze me how unimpressive he looked off gear. But Godlike when "on" for sure!

Can't really compare the two.. Arnold when on was training 6 days a week.. Eating 6 times a day.. Training heavy.. But arnold would take time off lifting and eating .. Add in cardio and you have a way less muscled arnold.. Thin.. If he were off everything and still training hard it would be a different Arnold also.. But no training and low food consumption equals a skinny Arnold..

There was a video of him in the gym a couple years back working on machines and it looked like he hadn't a clue how to train. It was weird.

The difference between 6 and 3 meals per day is truly the secret to lean, hard muscle.

Yes he is sweetheart. He even claimed to be 199 pounds in the late 70's. He looked smaller in the 1991 pic I uploaded than he did in the late 70's. At most he was 200 pounds, not more.

There is also a correlation here

The ones who look best are lean individuals (arnold, ronnie, flex). They generally have the best cuts when on

When they are off, their slimmer base builds become more or less apparent

There are big natural guys, but they rarely have the cuts to look great

Seems like without steroids, it's hard to have both these features

He said he got to 209 for Stay Hungry and he was bigger then than here.

He was very low in the 1996 Arnold but that was right after a major surgery.

Still he looks good today because he cleaned out. Guys who stayed too heavy all the time don't last. Except Marcus Ruhl who is going to live to at least 1,000.

there have been periods of interviews with arnold over the years... where it appeared he was on the Ben Carson stack.  A little too zombified and stoned.
