Christmas PSA
« on: December 21, 2015, 06:46:15 AM »
If you are going to get your child a dog/cat for the holidays, please go to your local shelters and adopt.

Every single year, in August and September animal shelters and rescue groups get hit really hard with incoming animals. This is because well meaning people adopt pets for Christmas and New years when they are caught up in the joy of the season. They don't realize how much work having a pet actually is, and how much proper care can cost. So by the time August and September rolls around the following year, the animals end up back in the system. I encourage everyone to adopt! But please please please think twice before adopting an animal! Make sure you have the time, energy, and money needed to properly care for your new family member!

This is my Corgi/Doxie mix, Tucker, I adopted from the local SPCA. He really has come a long way since my lady and I took him home.
The pictures don't do him justice.
