Trump defends Putin: 'I haven’t seen any evidence that he killed anybody

ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos on Sunday repeatedly confronted real-estate tycoon Donald Trump over his praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin last week.

Putin and Trump traded compliments last week, with the Russian president calling Trump a "very talented" person. Trump embraced Putin's praise as a "great honor."

Like MSNBC's Joe Scarborough before him, Stephanopoulos on Sunday asked Trump about Putin's status as a strongman, including allegations that the Kremlin has been involved in orchestrating the deaths of political opponents and journalists.

Stephanopoulos particularly pressed Trump on his Friday "Morning Joe" comments, in which he said that "our country does a lot of killing, also.

Leaders in France, Israel, UK, scotland, and the saudis condemned, criticized, or cancelled meetings with him.
He said merkel was ruining germany, but she didn't bother stooping down to respond.

Saudis can condemn how much they want once those two presidents join forces.

When Team Obama came to the Whitehouse, they had a big stupid red "reset" button for Russia and we're playing footsie with Putin. The NY Times hailed this "smart diplomacy" and crowed about the "adults are back".

Now that Trump is playing nice with Putin, though, the Times -- verily the very mouthpiece of progressive thought -- cannot say enough bad things about it.
