It depends what you call a kid. When some teens (15/16 I guess) knocked over bins outside my apartment years ago and acted like arrogant shits when I shouted at them I pushed one into a railing and "physically threatened" another (held by neck, threatened and threw into wall). This was a group of around 9 or 10 scumbags and they all ran. Have to protect your property.

If you mean a child, as in buys children's clothes and couldn't be considered accountable for actions, of course not.
