he'd get slain but the hype and excitement would be huge

I can't believe how delusional some posters are on this. LOL @ at a Tyson comeback. :D

Why not bring back Ali while we're at it? Heck, let's dig up Dempsey's corpse and throw that in the ring too.

I wonder actually if he got that fire in the belly back, the drive like in his heyday would he really do that badly, when he got beat at the end of his run he had nothing left in the basement.

Yea, its like in rocky balboa and i know its fictional but he had that something left, he busted his arse, got into amazing physical condition for any age and fought a lazy champion who basically just turned up with no fire, he didn't even look like he trained.

depends how much cardio he has

like you said its all in the mind

Bernard Hopkins is a similar age

A Tyson comeback is fun till you realize he's 11 years older than comeback era George Foreman here, and 1 year older than when Foreman totally retired from boxing......:).
And those shorter offensive heavyweights: Dempsey,Marciano,Frazier never seemed to have long careers .  They needed speed and explosive power,to get in close to bigger opponents and hammer them on the inside,

They were done by their early 30's,when physical decline set in.

Athletes will peak and decline at different ages. Hopkins is Hopkins and Tyson is Tyson.
It's not just mental, it's physical too. Tyson peaked very young and that time passed three decades ago.

agree with this, prime mike tyson was 1986-1988, aster that he sacked kevin rooney adn got lazy and stupid.

He is finished long time ago, but prime mike tyson is the ultimate boxer ever.

A 1985-1988 Tyson would have knocked him out inside of 1 minute.

That Tyaon could knock out King Kong.

Mike Tyson had neck surgery a few years ago, spinal fusion so I doubt he is going to be doing anything besides a bag and maybe the occasional hooker.
