NO one in the golden era had small pecs. They all had massively developed pec muscles.
But they all had small legs compared to the competitors of today.
NO one in the golden era had small pecs. They all had massively developed pec muscles. Even the sub-par guys did. It was due to heavy bench press. I've noticed that guys in the modern era have tiny little bitch tits. Do they even do the bench press anymore, or is that too much hard work for them?
For some reason, guys in the 70's didn't tear their pecs while doing bench presses.Eventually, the flat bench press started tearing pectoral muscles. And incline presses took over.
Branch and JOJ (especially JOJ), have some of the biggest pecs per bodyweight. Also, that is JOJs freak bodypart, and yes he does bench press and floor presses.
Especially hamstrings.
The guys of today have big chests, but they also have big guts and wide waists to go with it. So the illusion is a smaller chest. But I really don't think any bodyparts of the 70s guys are bigger. They just brought a more pleasing to the eye package.
Its all about oversized seo delts these days, no chest or vacuum.
Puny shoulders compared to the monsters today
I think it has a lot to do with today's guys using a lot of test and tren which seems to go straight to the shoulders and the old school guys used more d-Bol & deca. Shoulders are worked with chest and back and somewhat with squats and deads. Also seo use
Wait...test and tren go straight to the shoulders, but dbol and deca goes straight to the pecs?Which AAS goes straight to the calves?
