How about the way Arnie did it. He had Lurie take him to lunch, pay the bill, then as Arnie got up to leave, he slid him the lawsuit paperwork and walked out.
I believe that's how it happened, its been a few years since I read that book...

i think arnold apologized years later telling lurie it was weider's idea to sue him...
