But Bevo did bring up a good point with those particular cars if you think about it.
Some of these stereotypes are funny, some others seem outdated. For example like Miatas are considered a "chick car" but I see mostly bearded old men driving the stock ones or young guys doing trackdays with the modified ones with roll bars. Similarly with the Corvette, they used to be all about the balding middle age crisis man who gets a sports car/Corvette and (tries to get) a young girlfriend, yet the Z06 is a beast and you see a lot of them on the track as well. I wouldn't have a problem driving a good trackday Miata or a Z06. On the other hand, bro trucks/coal rollers and BMWs seem to hold on the stereotypes quite well.
The point is, drive the car that you enjoy the most and not give a fuck about what others think.
