The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo

On a SoCal runway used by General Patton to train soldiers for WWII, we line up the Turbo for the first of 50 back-to-back launches. Porsche's PR man called this test "abusive." We think it's a fitting tribute to the 911's 50th anniversary.

Yeah, I agree. Germans are the best at engineering and all things mechanical.

I'd say it's possibly a very occasional driver and it's what someone might expect from one of these at 50K miles w regular TLC.

Not matching numbers, interior needs work, brakes modified, probably suspension has been upgraded, little things that take away the value of the Shelby name.

It may not be quite what you're thinking, though. But still a damn good car. Very nice. Maybe you can try a lower offer and roll the dice with it.

I'd like to know the story behind the sale, too. It'll say whether anyone is still very attached to it or what's up. Considering the age of the car, it could be due to a death and maybe someone is trying to clear it out. Sad, but true.

I just talked to my friend that has a Shelby. he has the 500 with the big block. he said this price is fair but not a bargain with the 351.
