Great physique, fantastic on stage/in photos, but as I've said elsewhere he was one of those whose illusion was shattered the moment you met him - dude must have been close to 5ft dead.

(Possibly the smallest waist I've ever seen on an adult male though)

Really dig your threads bud. Reminds me of when I would blown away by pro's builds. 18yrs old and seeing Flex/ Levrone in all the magazines. If the current pro's didn't look like garbage, except for Dex, we might actually have bb discussions on the board again.

This board gets grief about the negativity it shows bb. Modern bb is truly awful though and we have the guts to say it. While the new guys have the bank accounts to put the size on, all and I mean all their structures suck. Flex, Kevin, Vince, Shawn, all went straight from the Nationals/USA's to winning pro shows. They had the muscles but it was also laid over exceptional skeletal structures.

Pastel was good for a small BBer, but like all the other short guys he disappeared in a lineup.

Look at Makawway, Brisbois, Pastel etc., they all look good alone, until you stand them next to a mass monster. Three short guys who could hold their own against the heavies were Momo, Padilla, and Labrada.

Yep....Priest, Ray, Gaspari, Benfatto, and a few others.

They look like world beaters standing alone - until a Yates, Haney, or Coleman stood next to them.
