Just playing devil's advocate here, but he is supposedly 9lbs heavier, and he doesn't seem to have the distension as bad as in 03. Condition is still on point... although it looks like his left side might be starting to atrophy a bit.

Conditioning is suffering in those pics and did so the heavier he got. He's in hard condition, but well off his best. His best conditioned Olympia by far was 1998. 2004, although much heavier and more massive, was a far cry from his best, as was 2003.

The most-muscular pic of Ronnie from the 2000 Olympia is freaky. Directly under it is the 2004 pic. I think that he weighed at least 20lbs more in 2004.... but he was better in 2000

I thought 99 he was the best. 98 was better condition but 99 he was very close to it and outmassed everyone a lot more.

He kept getting too heavy and thinking the extra weight was all muscle. He should have dieted further down in later years although 2005 was good at 275.

if you watch ronnies last moch dvd of 2007 you could just see it in his face the whole time he knew his nerve injury was career ending, by 2007 it was more the over, seamed like he wasnt enjoying it any more (hell cant blame the guy though) he had nothing left to prove.

but wow i never realized he looked like shit in 2002 I always thought gunter had a great structure when he was full, great shoulders and arms and chest, lotta striations.

That pic is actually from the 2003 RGP, but yes he was probably his biggest at the 2004 RGP.
