Jesus was asked if one should wash hands before eating and replied it wasn't necessary as was customary with the Jews at the time. Of course there
was no actual Jesus giving advice but writers composing that book in Greek. A pity he didn't tell everyone about germs and so on. Wash your hands
and plenty of other things often!
Lol, what? Verse is in reference to their laws (Pharisees) and not Jesus being against hygiene. Told them to be more concerned with what came out of their mouths (words, etc.) then focusing so much on what was going in (ritual, etc.). Basically, stop being such hypocrites.
Misquoting/misinformation galore. Read the whole passage. Not that hard. People have differing opinions on beliefs (atheists, Christians, etc.) but don't spread misinformation as fact when you haven't apparently read it yourself. That goes for everyone (myself, etc.)
