Anybody listen to podcasts? On leg days I usually take a break from music and put on a podcast. Usually, I listen to comedy podcasts; my two favs right now are "Comedy Bang Bang!" and "Hollywood Handbook". Bodybuilding related: I just downloaded Kai Greene's latest episode for today's workout. Anybody ever check it out? Reviews?

I notice that he tags it as "from CBS Studios" on his Instagram page, which implies it's a CBS production, but I suspect that's probably not the case.

I'm back, guys. Had a decent leg workout. Listened to the latest episode of Kai's podcast. Here are a few observations.

*His co-host (lovely woman in pictures, cancer survivor, fitness competitor) does not seem to be that into the bodybuilding scene. At one point during a bodybuilding news roundup segment, they are discussing Juan "Diesel" Morel's update pics and she discusses how his bathroom towels and bathroom door fit the same color scheme.

*There was a moment when Kai refers to the top guys in the industry and makes what seems like an obvious omission of Phil Heath.

*Refers to himself as a professional athlete several times. Interesting because  the term applied to bodybuilders would cause some people to smirk, but also because it suggests he's not done competing. He specifically says he can't be wreckless in the gym as amateur athletes because he has signed contracts and has obligations.  ;)

*The show seems sort of unfocused. I could not figure out whether the show was supposed to be for bodybuilding fans, people who are just starting out with their training or people who are advanced. If I was producing this show, I'd probably break the show into a few clear sections: a bodybuilding news and personality round up at the top of the show, a section where Kai and his co-host just  discuss what it is like to be a bodybuilder on a daily basis, their daily lives and their experiences in the industry, then a segment where they take readers' questions and answer specific questions.  The current format is basically them talking about one topic for approximately an hour, which resulted in a not very interesting show.

My workout lasted for about 50 min, so that's as much as I listened to.
