No, he said 'take it' because the spotter should guide the swinging monolift hooks into place. And he failed to do so. Which is also why I despise monolifts. Unnecessary risks, and laziness of people who use them. Biggest real squats ever were done walking out.

^^ thanks Phreak, I was thinking it is a bit insane to hope for a high pull. Never seen a monolift type cage (I train in SA, we are somewhat behind generally) and currently use the back of two chairs as a squat rack in my lounge, so am truly ignorant with regards to stuff like this.

Some times the old ways are the best ways. The US could again dominate PL is they weren't the ones constantly looking to make lifts easier. Easy doesn't make you stronger! And respect for the chair option, if it works it works. SA, the land of Gerrit Badenhorst, Jack Parow, and chair squats. :P
