Just got off the phone with the Golden Eagle himself, he said that was a Video of him in 1986 and yes that was no where the size but neverthelss it is him..

Platz wasn't nearly as big as people think. He had a tiny frame, and most of his leg mass was in his inner thighs. His quads didn't look THAT big when flexed head on.

Here's another video of Platz. You can clearly see the similarities. He even folds his arms the same way when posing.

I agree, but he did have incredible development and straitions.

I saw Platz at the 1989 ASC... very tiny guy when off gear. He looked to be about 5'3"-5'4".

I'd bet $100 that it's not Platz in that video. The calves look the same but the legs are longer and just too different. I also wondered if it was Roger Stewart. Who the hell is it, really? Someone's gotta know.

dude it's tom.... the guy didn't look like he did in the summer of 81 for the entire decade...

When do you think it was? I've seem Tom's legs up close in person after he retired twice and he never lost his inner quad, escpecially when they were that big.

Right, and like you said earlier, the veins are totally different, I noticed that too. The muscles could get smaller but the veins wouldn't ever change. It's not Platz for sure. The guy in the video looks taller and less stocky than Platz.

I know I've already said I don't think it's Platz, and after watching the video again, I really don't think it's Tom. The soleus insertion is too high and too small. And as mentioned... his inner thighs were never that small... that I can remember.

Who has absolute proof?

Not Roger stewart for sure. He trained at my gym in his prime. His quads were not that big. Not even close. He did have however, the same calves. He also never had a striated ass. I know its not Mike francois, but before he flexes the quads look just like his. Same sweep. It's this dude for sure. The guy from those H.D.T ads.

$1000 bet to anyone...........It's NOT Tom Platz

While the guy in the ideo has great calves..........their soleus' are not the same. Their vascularity is different. Tom was much stockier, his quads shorter and thicker. Even after retirement, his legs never "thinned out" and always appeared stocky. He has been one of my favorites since 1980 when I started training.
