The first time I went to the gym was in january of 2000. I went with my friend and he was showing me how to train.. my first day I was already stronger than him on every single exercise. I liked training a lot and soon enough was training 3 hours a day. After a year of training I was already doing 55 pounds on the dumbell preacher curl. Everybody was also making comments like you look like drago from rocky 4 or your gaining fast, do you want to be a bodybuilder? So I knew from that momment on I was a gift. :)
just push some weight!

My reasons for starting:

1) To rehab an injury incurred at birth

2) To build up strength to protect myself against the marauding gangs in my old neighborhood

3) To attract women

4) To avoid feeling inadequate

Did it work? Here are the answers,

1) Yes to a large degree

2) Having extra size made people think twice, but the best way seemed to be to hanging out with the right people

3) Not really, in fact at my biggest it seemed to have an opposite effect. Being comfortable with myself worked better in this department.

4) Didn't help really, to change that I had to build all areas of my life,; still building.

Some of you should unplug sometime. Get out and about. Get some sun. The consistanst use of the PC robs your brain of common sense.

Gay jokes! Hell yeah! So innovative. To think you came up with that all on your own....

I started to get girls, and let me tell you something, it works.  It's sad because when I discussed this with my friends they went on to say that personality is all that matters, blah, blah, blah.  What a load of shit.  Women are just as shallow as men.

Whether most want to admit it or not, girls look at face and body 1st. Your charm and personality only work if you can at least get their attention. And like it or not girls want a guy with a body just like we want girls with bodies.

Actually our natural instinct is to pass on our genes. With that in mind our brain processes the selection of mates and/or spouses that have the physical strength to carry on with our genes and pass them onto to offspring so that the cycle continues. Since we view overweight, obese and out of shape people as sickly, it's natural for us to strive towards with strong physical apperances.

If you ask BayGBM, any male that ever touched a weight to work out did (or does) so because they are secretly gay or bisexual.
There you have it gents.

Even though you misconstrued what I said a few days ago, you’re obviously still thinking about it.  I leave it to the objective observer to figure out why this topic is still on your mind . . .  ;)
