I'm ashamed to admit when I was in college I would go out like that to clubs. Dress pants, dress shoes, tucked in tank top.  Some clubs wouldn't let me in so I always left a back up button down shirt in the car just in case.

It takes a certain level of ignorance to dress like that to a club. Sometimes I'm blown away how some guys have absolutely no clue regarding appropriate wardrobe/sense of at least a simple style.
