One tough basketball player still doesn't negate my statement. On average, hockey players play through many more injuries than those pansy basketball players.

Injuries like Ware are not common in basketball. But given the nature of hockey, moderate to severe injuries are a lot more common.

 Cavs don't have the depth required to win or go deep in the playoffs. Don't see a coaching issue here.  It goes to show that defense wins games especially in basketball. See - Golden State. Nuff' said!

I don't know if you watch hockey, but it happens a lot. Hockey players get stitched up in the locker room, and are back out on the ice. They lose a tooth, and are back on the ice.

How many basketball players do you think would take 10 stitches to the head, and go back out and play? I bet I couldn't count the amount on my hand. Hockey players do it on a regular basis. Again, basketball players are pansies.

SPurs and Warriors already embarrassed the Cavs this year.  Probably why Blatt was fired.  Even Lebron's two titles have big question marks.  Mavs getting some bad calls in a game that would have won the series and the Spurs getting screwed over to let the Heat win game 6 and make it to Game 7.

Mike, this goes back to the complete fucked up nature of Cleveland sports.  I know they hired Blatt a month or so before James announced he was going to Cleveland but at that point they could have made a change.  When you get James, Irving and Love together, why the fuck would you want a rookie NBA coach?  At that point they could have paid Phil $10-12 mill to coach or got another veteran coach.  Wasted years by Cleveland.

New Coach Lue immediately called out Lebron, Love and Irving for coming out early and being out of shape lol.  He gives no fcks.  he made his NBA money, he can be straight with them.  Blatt would never call out lebron when watching film.  ESPN says he was kinda scared to admit any of lebron's flaws, even when it was lebron being lazy on defense... blatt would never agree with it or admit it. 

Lue gives no fccks.  He called lebron out of shape, after a loss tonight.

Blame the other white guy.  lol.  Anyway if it's Love's fault then that's still actually Lebron's fault because he's that one that insisted they trade the #1 draft pick Wiggins and get Love.

Actually, Cleveland does not suck.  They were in the finals last year even though half their team was injured.  They are in first place again this year and are a prohibitive favorite to go to the Finals again.  Unfortunately for them two West teams are playing out of their mind great basketball and Cleveland isn't likely to beat either of them. Not sure how Blatt had anything to do with that.  Tyronn Lue is Lebron's homeboy, he may turn out to be great but the dude has never been a head coach at any level.  Not sure how adding Lue solves Cleveland's Steph Curry problem.

I have never seen such a laundry list of excuses like I see with Lebron.  He makes excuses and thus his fans are forced to make excuses.  Maybe it's because he (and they) prematurely named him the greatest player of all time and now have to explain why things aren't working out like they expected.  It's a results oriented world we live in, excuses can take a walk.

i thought they were on a similar path here.  Heat went to the Final year 1, lost.  Cavs went (badly hurt) and did better against one of the all time great teams, the hot Warriors.

This year, they're cruising to the finals on the same path.  if top 3 are healthy and warriors are a little dinged up, cavs can win it.  ballebadova will undercut curry every chance he gets.  any knee injury, however minor and curry is neutralized to a spot up shooter.  Cavs can win the title this year.

IMHO, it's just a case of cavs figuring they're in the finals no matter what, so Lue will do.  Although I'd love to see them move Love for someone lanky and defensive that can shift to center so lebron can dominate as a power forward.
