NRA is a bunch of shit. My friend, who owns 10 guns, was part of the NRA, and will never join them again. My friend was buying a new home, a really expensive home in New York (and just had a baby), so he discontinued his NRA membership for a little. He told me they kept calling and calling for a membership and donations. Despite him telling him them that he was going to discontinue his membership for the time being, they kept calling. Every time he picked up, they were like screaming into the phone about how Obama is going to take our guns (and becoming quite irate), and they need money. My friend dislikes Obama, but even he said, it was reaching a point of pure stupidity on their part. That is how badly they wanted his money. He said he will never join again.
