Such a Great fighter when he is able to fight...
Just sad He has been injured proned this last 5 years and probably should consider retirement or change his training style....

He's a family man, he doesn't want to die on the ring.

Indeed. Absolute warrior, got no reason to question any of the injuries. That said, I'd "accidentally" bust a femur to avoid f'n Werdum.

Since Cain dropped out.... (replaced by Stipe Miocic)

Werdum said that he is is injured too... and Werdum just dropped out of UFC 196 too

Fabricio said that he would've trained through the injuries if Cain was still the opponent.... and would've fought Cain .... If Cain was the opponent

Looks like Werdum will fight Cain at a later date

Stipe should be given some compensation. It must suck to be told that you are filling in/ fighting for a title shot (that Stipe earned) only to be told that Werdum has also backed out. So what does Stipe do now? I am assuming that Werdum is willing to wait for Cain to recover.

Dana should give Stipe a guaranteed title shot, and pay him for the fight he thought he was accepting (on short notice)

I think that Stipe was already guaranteed the winner of Werdum vs Cain.

I think that Werdum is looking forward to beating Cain again.

Yes, but who knows how long that will take now. Plus, Stipe would be stupid to take another fight in the meantime (what if would lose)

I am assuming that Stipe accepted a the fight with Werdum on short notice, and therefore he should be compensated.

Stipe is the loser in this situation.

No, cuz Stipe lives to fight another day.  He was going to and will get destroyed by Werdum.

Dana should pull rank and make Werdum fight Stipe to save the card.

i am very surprised werdum is pulling out, cause  i think he handles stipe easily.

werdum is losing alot of money because of cain,  werdum could have fought again last year but agreed to wait for injured cain to heal up

for there rematch, and thus cain gets hurt again. i think cains injuries are more because of the drug testing.

Re: Werdum "backing out."

Not for nothing, but if a fighter trains week after week for a particular guy (style/strengths/weaknesses, etc.), doesn't he have this option? Didn't Jones once do that with Sonnen?

Also, isn't Werdum claiming injury as well?

I don't think stipe has any fans. Nobody has any interest in seeing him ever fight. IIf he retired tomorrow i doubt one person would give a fuck
