This. Pot is legal in my state and neighboring state; they have done nothing of use with the money and will not.

lol.  :-\ :-\

I live in NYC, probably one of the richest cities in our country, and they barely fix any roads lol.  ??? ???  Same potholes in the ground since 2 winters ago on the highways.

Besides cops, fireman, teachers, sanitation, and corrections officers, its baffling where the rest of the tax money goes to.  :D :D

Just like the money from all of our lottery games, never funds shit, just leads to more addiction.

Yeah You guys have trashy streets.  :P
Austin and New York City are too very different places. We don't have nearly the amount of people and budget needs you guys have.

Are you high ???

The streets in some areas are horrendous.

The pensions from the jobs listed above?

Very few people understand the "legacy costs" of public sector jobs.  The public will fight for a teacher/police officer/fireman's perceived "poor salary" without taking into account that those jobs often times come with retirement by age of 55, full health benefits for life, and a healthy pension attached.

With individuals living into their 80's, you have employees paying in very little to support the pension fund, and receiving pension benefits far outweighing their contribution for 30 years.

It will be forever for pot to be legal in Indiana. They just rejected again this year to have liquor stores open on Sunday. Backward ass state.  >:(

I used to go fishing at Lake Fork by Sulfur Springs and I remember it being dry there. DNR made me pour a fresh case of beer onto the ground while I was unpacking the car at the fish camp. Best bass lake in the country though!

Sure, but it's NYC. You realize how much money flows through NYC per day? There is absolutely no reason why there should be potholes in the streets for 2 years.

I looked up Falcon Res. and it sounds like an incredible place to bass fish. Not trying to sound like a total pussy but with the lake bordering Mexico how safe is it? I always carry when I fish mainly in for snakes and gators. Never had to use it thank God.

I shot a big copper head snake , right off the deck with a .38 caliber pistol a few years ago.
I felt like John Wayne. :D

I was fishing a tournament in Lake Okeechobee about 10 years ago and had a water moccasin chase my bass boat out of some bullrush. Fucker was aggressive as hell. Florida water patrol had already ticketed me that day so I didn't want to discharge a firearm and add to it. Not a good day on the lake.  :-\

They are some markers that separate the us and Mexico side. If you stay on the us side you're safe.

Have you fished it? If so, what is the biggest you have pulled out of it?

Yeah, last time was about 6 years ago. I'm not a good fisherman and don't really like to fish. But, I go because my dad is retired and loves to fish. I got a few 22-ish Before, so right above average.
Good buck hunting around that area too.
