It really says a lot about the American people that Sanders and Trump are getting so much traction.

Sanders is the only one rejecting the trade "agreements" that have done nothing but race us to the bottom.  The entire planet will be like some Colombian shithole if we stay on this track.  He is the ONLY ONE resisting that, unless Trump wants to give some detail.

Bernie is trying to correct the problem, as best as he sees fit.  He isn't perfect, at all, but when I see a guy like Ted Cruz lying like a POS every time he says something (including trying to flood our country with slave labor at every level), Bernie doesn't look too bad.  At least Bernie is trying to protect the value of the work.

I know.  I really had high hopes for Trump.  It's so crazy to think that if he'd played shit right, he would have a good chance of taking the office.  Maybe he still does, but it was a mistake to have missed that debate.

I'm not happy about that.  But it turns out the one guy who claims to be against it (Ted Cruz), actually tried to increase the number of outside workers by several hundred percent.  He was trying to flood us with cheap foreigners running around in every level of business.  He then lied about it, and claimed that he was trying to expose Marco Rubio (another lying POS on immigration). Can't make this shit up if you tried.

And why many of the negative issues have arisen today.

People need to take a good honest look at themselves, and the government that they have. People are more inclined to spend more time debating politics on a forum than banding together and holding the politicians accountable for their actions. People only have the power you give them, or allow themselves to have.

Sanders rap works well on college kids, but, time and time again, I've seen what happens when college kids come back home.

They still think they're living in a quad and that life is one continuous party. Eventually, they get smacked down for their behavior by grown ups. It's not until you've had some real responsibilities and pay some real bills are you an adult. At that point, Sanders fantasy land bullshit gets exposed.
