I think the problem you have with that line of reasoning is that the Irish didn't want the whole world to be the Republic of Ireland.
True. It is so hard to hear president Obama be so blind to the association of Islam and extremism and over and over deny its existence. It is frustrating as hell, he protects them like his own family. He just did it again last week visiting that Mosque. Even though a small % of Muslims are terrorists, a much larger % want Shaira Law and to impose their religious law and rules in the places them migrate to. Certainly many Muslims are great people but there are different interpretations of Islam and how it guides their life and law. Look at some of the elements of Islamic law, it is completely fucked up. It is the farthest thing from western and liberal thinking. Why liberals defend all Islam with such fierceness is beyond me, they are ignoring what they don't want to see...mistreatment of women & children, stonings/beheadings, blind religious faith, and refusing to assimilate by many.
Liberals defend the parts of Islam they like and ignore the significant % of Muslims with more extreme interpretation of their own religion and religious law. These liberals should speak to the military folks that worked with many of the middle eastern communities to see reality
