Dude was always one of the nicest people out there.  Sucks to see good people get cancer while assholes live as a cancer to society

Hitman is a fun read.  I met Bret when he trained in Goodlife Fitness in the Eaton Centre while he was doing his Aladdin run in Toronto about 10 years ago.  Nice guy.

He'll be fine.  Prostate Cancer has a very high treatment success rate.  In the high 90% rate.

Very true, I waited 1 1/2 yrs in denial before going to a specialist. Treatable but it does alter your life though. I imagine the test was a contributor like it was with me.

So as long as it hasn't started to metastasize, he should be fine.

Prostate cancer, as both Rudee and gym**rat have mentioned, is easily treatable and sometimes oncologists, even after diagnosing a patient with prostate cancer, will take a "wait and see" approach before considering surgery or chemo/radiation therapy.

They'll probably conduct PSA and DRE tests every 3-6 months and perform prostate biopsies every year to monitor the condition closely.

This is probably, as shitty as it sounds, the best type of cancer that you can get.

I normally agree with you but definitley not on that last sentence. From going through a full removal I can think of several types I would rather have. As I mentioned before, it alters your life and not in a good way.

I took my youngest brother to a show when Hart had turned heel in the WWE. Us and some kids saw him in the parking garage and he flipped us off. I know he was in character but it upset the children.

I had a prostate scare over summer till oct last year everything turned out fine,took my 1st psa test its all good my #' was good,i'm 47 now so it was a shock to have an issue out of nowhere..

Thanks for the info. No surprise regarding Warlord. That dude was barely human.

I think Bret Hart was around 6'1ft and 225lbs and his style was more based around his superb athleticism and mat skills rather than his strength. His bout with the Bulldog at Summerslam 92 was an early childhood memory and one of my all time favourite.

Bret was such a hard worker, EVERYTHING was in the technique & these matches will always be #1...
The loss of the Rock, Stone Cold, etc... ruined wrestling.  Now it's all about how MANY tats you have, sadly...
