Has Flex magazine passed ?

I Haven't seen a single issue of Flex mag this year on stand .... Are they done ?

While M&F, Muscular Development IronMan etc are still standing with February issue on stands.

I still got a subscription. Its bi-monthly now. Content isnt great but they still have contest coverage

Contest coverage three months later was good enough in 1986. Not so good in 2016.

honestly i used to love going to wegmans back in the day the muscle mags would come out, I would hit the gym go to wegmans for dinner sit down and page threw all the muscle mags then put them back after i was done eating , then do it again after the next workout.

Its a shitty analogy. I have not heard Joe Namaths name mentioned within the last 6 months anywhere.

Arnold is a bodybuilder, actor, producer, former governor, and is still actively involved in bodybuilding (AS Classic). Thus, it makes sense why he would still be on the cover of bodybuilding magazines. Hes just a lot more famous than joe namath.

Sure, the print industry has taken a huge hit. But if it's something worth reading that you're not going to get anywhere else, there's a market for it. FLEX and MD put out the same shit month after month, year after year. That's why their sales suck balls. Plus they do shit ass backwards, using their print magazines to plug the websites and digital versions instead of the other way around.

Weider lies for a living. All the years I bought their mags and was led to believe that the guys in there built their bodies naturally, only to find out years later at a Dorian Yates seminar that each and every one of them was cheating. Weider even warned its readers about the "dangers" of steroid use. The writers are such liars. I don't care if their bullshit mags come to an end.
