Some people are pointing to CTE has the possible cause of his suicide.

Yeah, CTE is the new boogey man, especially since shit hit the fan with football and concussions.

The thing is, who knows if its related to CTE. Maybe he had issues all of his life, independent of CTE. Or, maybe CTE exacerbated his preexisting issues.

Dude was insane on a bike. Can't imagine how many concussions that guy had. I'm guessing 25 to 100+. Probably hit his head so many times over the years that even when he was concussed, it probably felt somewhat normal to him.

Mirra was married, two daughters, worth 15 million, had his own business. Commits suicide. The family says they are shocked that he did this.

Hmmm, I wonder if he was dealing with addiction or a terminal illness that he did not want to face.

Mayor Thomas also shared that he and Mirra had a 20-minute conversation outside a local restaurant just hours before his death. He explained that they talked and laughed, and Mirra had exciting things planned for the kids in Greenville.
