We do have some of the best football players for such a small State.  THe top colleges try hard to get our players.  How about this stat, Out of the 58 men who have started at QB in the Super Bowl 7 were born in Louisiana.

You don't understand my post.  You know how hard Nick Saben tries to get the players from Louisiana high schools, he might get more than Miles.  Plus how many starting QB in the Super Bowl have come from La? This is about talent only, has nothing to do with LSU.

Easy because not all of the blue chips here go to LSU.  You guys don't know how hard someone like Seban works on the great players here in La. All the top coaches come here.  Here is another stat for u to think about Mike. 5 of the Super bowl MVP quaterbacks came from La. What other state has more than that. 7 out of 58 starters were from here. What state has more, and from a state that is smaller than most cities in Texas.

It helps to be great, but if u think they don't go after the blue chip guys you don't understand college sports. My daughter and I enjoyed her recruiting process so much, we will never forget it. She is in her second year playing basketball.

As a recruit, colleges bend over backwards for you!

A guy in my HS was being recruited by some big time D-1 schools. He said they gave him a "debit card" with like $2K on it for his visit and had female "hosts" show him around and took him to some parties. Look at how Louisville handled recruits
