That video clip just confirms that most any effort, involving more than one major muscle joint will product a much higher metabolic rate, given the effort and duration (time) period. Doesn't mean that the Frog is any better, or worse, than similar devises. Or even the common BB or DB for that matter; higher rep Olympic lifts, squat cleans, snatch, full squats,etc for example.
The Frog is an interesting device, and might serve the needs of some people. So much result producing equipment out there to chose from. The Frog may face a tough buying market.
(personal view...best device for total abs, the Ab Wheel..fairly similar to the upper body extension of the Frog. Not saying it's better, but similar)
