So I've pretty much been at the same level of strength for two years. I've tried everything....every routine...every assistance exercise.....eating more etc and my strength gains were minimal. I was moving some decent weight to begin with but I still felt like I should have been gaining better. . started wondering if I could of just been out of shape.
Started to do some cardio keeping my heart rate at 130 bmp on off days for the past two weeks. Low and behold my bench was up 20 pounds today.HAven't even been training hard either.

when you start approaching a double bodyweight bench a 20 pounds increase over a year is GREAT.....two weeks? GTFO..goes to show you how you really can't build strength if you have a shitty aerobic base. I think the fact that Im sleeping better from it might be another factor.
