Maybe, but as an experienced smoker I can say that getting high can stop you on your tracks and force you to look at yourself as the insignificant piece of nothing you really are, making you realize how dumb your daily crap actually is, that's why many people become "paranoid" but they aren't really paranoid, they just realize that there's two sides of the coin always.... but yeah you're right.
