why i still use and wear a fannypack

my son-in-law had a iPhone 5, which was not working well. so he went to the ATT store with me, and bought a new iPhone 6 plus. they are no more upgrades anymore, you have to buy the phone full price. and what was full price you ask??
900.00 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!   yes thats right, 900.00 bucks. i would not want to lose my iPhone, as 900 for a new one will put me in a really bad mood if i lost it.

being retired at age 58, i go to the gym most days twice. every time i see the young kids putting their phones, keys, on the ground. half the time they walk away and forget their stuff on the ground?? then they come rushing back to grab it.
why would i put my stuff on the nasty, germ infested gym floor?? makes no cents.

in the gym, my jansport fanny pack holds my keys, iPhone, gum, tumms, glasses if I'm reading on the treadmill, and one dude wipe, incase i have to go number two in the gym.

when I'm out and about, my fanny pack carried all the above, and my slim wallet. (why would i want all of this stuff in my pants pockets?? seems pretty uncomfortable.

and when I'm really out and about, my fanny pack will carry my mini glock 27.  I may look like a geek, but i don't lose my stuff.

I am one that thinks they are ugly as hell but I also have to confess that I own one. I use it when I walk shallow rivers small mouth bass fishing. I have all my tackle and tube baits in it. But I am in the middle of no where when I fish so no chance of anyone seeing me wearing one.

like mentioned I take a bag and leave it in the changing room, wear a watch for keeping an eye on rest times and write planned weights on my hand before if can't remember them.i hate carrying shit around or on me in pockets or whatever when training
