Cool. Although she does shed a bit during the summer, well it seems like a bit to me as always having to vacuum. We have hot summers though, so not sure if she is a heavy shedder or not compared to other cats or breeds. She is very attached to me, and doesn't really take to other people or animals. She has a serious foot fetish and loves rubbing her cheeks on feet and shoes and socks. She comes when I call her, with the exception of when she doesn't want to because she is napping or just up to no good. She loves to play but can get quite feisty, for a tiny little animal she could capably defend herself against me if she needed to. She sleeps with me and drives me nuts, in the colder months she lays on my body and in between my legs and I constantly have to wake her as I turn from side to side. During the warmer months she sleeps on the end of the bed, but she has this weird habit of when I go to bed she follows and licks my arms and hands. This is the only pet I've ever owned and I had no idea about cats before her, they are quite fascinating creatures.
You have the best type of cat for a man possible to be honest, they are more intelligent then average cats and are dog like, as you described. Most cats if just a random tabby or bi colour are not nearly as loyal nor as interactive.
